The Class of 2008 is on its way! Kelsey was my first senior session of the season, and what fun it was. Here's a sneak peak.

Taken on Saturday, before the storm that buried us in snow again. I regret not having returned for a photo on Sunday of these poor daffodils, struggling to weather the storm. The recent swimming photos have me dreaming in vibrant color, and so it is fun to continue with it a bit more.

As I explained in previous posts, I was in Florida last week attending the YMCA National Swimming and Diving Championship with Will. I enjoyed volunteering as a photographer for two sessions and thought I'd post a few of my favorites from those sessions. If you are interested in seeing more, I've posted them on my Web site, in a FEATURED gallery. After photographing all winter in dark pools, it was great fun to be able to work in full sun.

class of 2008 senior rep applications available

Are you an outgoing soon-to-be senior? Laura Brophy Photography is currently seeking Class of 2008 representatives. If you are interested in modeling for senior portraits and representing Laura Brophy Photography in your school and to your friends, please contact me through my website to request an application. I'm looking for good students with a sense of style and who love the camera.

Some of the details:

• Two free sessions ($150 value).
• One mini shoot right away after application approval.
• Free full session (must be booked early in June).
• Final gallery 10-12 from the mini session and 35 from the full.

• Cool online slideshow of your images to show off to your family and friends.
