What a fun surprise to discover that this photo, which I titled "Energy," won 2nd price in the betterphoto.com November photo contest. It spent much of January popping up on the main page of betterphoto. Interestingly, it received not one comment when submitted or until it was named a prize-winner, a wonderful reminder to stay true to my vision and continue to experiment with the nontraditional.
